Wide Open Albies or ???

I thought it was interesting once again to see the counts of albies but not to mention the average is 8lbs. Pretty misleading IMO.

I was out there two days ago and we caught many 8-10 lbrs (released most of the pajama bandits) but there is a mix. Our last stop of the day was a double jig on 30-lbrs. My girlfriend and I could have put the wood to the smaller units but we would never do so just to post an impressive count. Wide-Open is likely the most abused term in SoCal SF.

Some Quality Albies -- Mixed Grade

We were out on Saturday. Mixed grade of albies as follows:

4 little dirtbags of about 8-10;
4-5 at or above legal drinking age (21+); and
balance of fish were teenagers.

Interestingly, the little fish were troll fish and we'd hang bigger fish on bait afterwards.
