8-13 267 & 209 Dorado

Fished yesterday with the fleet at the 267 for several Dorado and then moved toward the 209, picking a few here and there off patties along the way. Finished the day with 9, while farming a few as well. The water was awesome and 70ish. The key for us was 15lbs test and 3/8 sinker on a carolina keeper. We also used quiet a bit of cut bait for chum. As an extra treat, on the way in 5 miles off Dana we spotted a Marlin! We spent nearly 45 minutes trying to get him to bite with no luck.

No, we got a good look at him. It was a striper.

Yesterday I saw the same fish (or a close relative) same area on my way out. Huge billfish, happy as could be jumping and jumping. Crazy fish. 4-5 miles out of DP harbor.

Short answer, staight out 15 and 25 miles respectively. I have heard the 267 also referred to as the 279, but here are the numbers: 267 : 33 17 80 - 117 49 10. 209: 33 05 80 - 117 52 20
