Coming to Norcal next week!!! What to do???

Heading up to Sacramento on Tuesday for a conference which ends on Friday noonish.

Any ideas on anything going on this time of year?

I have fished the American successfully several times for shad, trout and salmon, and the Sacramento for Stripers but I can't remember for the life of me what time of year it was?

Also, I have never caught a catfish before, so if anyone has ideas on that, please let me know...

Or, I can just wait for the weekend to check out my friends in Monterrey/Santa Cruz, but it seems like pretty much everything is shut down in the salt except sand dabs and dungeoness...

Jason,

Sturgeon and Stripers. Suisun Bay and San Pablo Bay. Right Hook- Jay 916-417 5670; Morning Star 800-464-1431; Predator Crocsport@yahoo.com; California Dawn 510-417-5557; check'em all see which boat is on the fish. Jay fishes at night not sure about the others.... if the good out going tide is after dark, makes a difference.

Tight lines,

Tony

Thanks Tony,

James Smith on the California Dawn is a friend of a friend. Any idea if he still runs that boat???

Also, thanks for the heads up about Right Hook, fishing at night might work out well so I can go to the conference during the day...

Yes, I believe James Smith is still the Capt.
