Dustin Boone (Kiaikai) and I launched the Highland Lassie at about 6am in Emeryville.
We flew over to Dynos bait dock, for a scoop of bait, and hit Bonita cove first thing. Water color was off, and there was no fish, or strikes.
We decided to run up to Duxbury and try for a few salmon.
Lines in right at the bouy, and in 5 minutes, Dustin is on, a nice 19lb fish.

After a few shakers, the bite died, so we went west away from the carousel of boats that seem magnetically attached to the green can.
We found bait, and birds well away from the pack, and the bite was on.
Dustin put in another smaller fish.
I change up my offering to a FBR, and no sooner than I put it in, Fish on, a nice 13lber.

15 minutes later, I am on again, this time a 20lb fish.

With our limits by 10 am, we headed to Muir Beach. Nothing. North bar for a couple hours, Nothing but a couple murres.
Back to Bonita cove, where we try for halibut but catch rockfish, lingcod, and a huge batray. Lingcod were shorts, but fun to fight.

No halibut to be had for us today. We ended at 4 pm with our 4 salmon and about 8-9 rockfish.
Ran into this guy in the cove.

It was a good day for us, all in all, considering it seemed slow for most out there.
Dustin will have some more pics to add.
Dustins fish were on watermelon e chip apex clone, and mine on a custom FBR with live bait. (FTH)-(Franko Torture helmet) all 35 feet down.
Weather was great while we were out there, but it came up on the guys still out in the afternoon.
