My neighbor called me this AM and asked me if I wanted to help him pull his pots (Sport) we hit the water and were't gone 2 hours lots of nice fat jumbos.

Easy limits, great eating.

Jan, We lived in Humbolt from 1985 to 1994, caught and ate a lot of those big crabs. Had a fisherman pay his bill with the critters once. I think they taste better then lobster. Have bought them a few times down here, very expensive.

We moved up here from San Diego in 1997 (What a change!!! Lol)

The DA is a guy name of Paul Gallegos, he's an interesting sort, they attemted a recall on him and it failed.

The Good "ol boy network is still in charge here and the politics are interesting to watch.

The Renners, Arklies and Piersons and other old familes are still in the background pulling strings.

And I agree the crab is a lot sweeter than those bugz I used to get down south.

and the salmon fishing is a little better too.

another call...left the house at 0930 back by noon another 10 in the bag.

The laast one just hit the pot and it's crab for dinner again.

Damn! I'm getting just a little spoiled.
