Karen Lynn Report!

Fishing continues to be great with many BFT still hanging around. Stellwagen continues to hold fish of all different size classes. On the last trip we had we landed four fish a 45" a 52" a 60" then this years cookie cutter 67" class fish. Very exciting to see all these different size class tuna that's for sure. Jeffreys continues to hold fish as the bait is still solid. With multiple sighting's of 20lb tuna jumping around. The juvenile herring on Jeffreys was out of control this year, seems the mid water trawler restriction is showing positive affects. It has been a great year so far with hopes of a few more great trips to be had. Hoping to get a few trips in down south for the big boys as they have been coming through. Landed a nice one on my buddy's boat last week a little closer to home. Good luck to all on the final adventure's for the season. Thanks

Are you guys allowed to sell sport-caught fish out there?

Are the fish the property of the boat (like how it works in Hawaii), or are they kept by the chartering angler?

Just curious....Thanks.

The rules are any blue fin tuna over 73" is property of the boat in turn a charter will receive a free trip or a percentage of the tuna. This year we could keep two fish on a charter one between 27" and 47" and one between 47" and 72". To say the least, charters this year went home with some of the nicest blue fin tuna money can buy! Thanks
