"COME ON OUT AND SAY YOU HEARD ABOUT US ON "Bloody Decks.com" and get a $5 discount off regular fare with rental rod included. Thats a $12 SAVINGS!:"
Beware, I had a problem trying to get the discount by mentioning the above quote even though I brought a printed copy. I did not get the rental rod free and I was also given a hard time trying to get the $5. discount. Just get/print the "Golden Eagle Dollars" instead and save yourself the headache.

Brian,
Dont appreciate the bad post as you have not until the 28th sent me a private message about the problem of which I have responded to. The mate made an error with the change that night and you recieved the proper change back, although it had to be verified with the tickets and fares by the Capt.
Once again the mate who should have checked with the Capt or myself made a judgement error and did not give you a discount. They themselves are not given that authority or they would give away the store. I appologize for the confusion that occured and have sent you a private message about it.
We recieve very few complaints, and when we do they are addressed correctly. Most of the crews on boats are young and are learning, they will from time to time make a mistake. How that mistake is handled and corrected is how our service should be judged.
The fishing was excellent that night, and the actions of the crew were complemented for the service as is described by another passenger the same night. "Just wanted to say thanks for the phenomenal fishing last night!! We reeled in so many fish and have the sore bodies to prove it. My 2 friends and I each brought our 12 year old sons out with us and they had a blast. Your crew are awesome, attentive and genuinely nice guys. Thanks Matt for batiting my hook EVERYTIME!!! We'll tell everyone we know to take a trip with you guys. Thanks again!!"
I appologize for the confusion you experienced. If we have made a mistake, we will always address it, fix it and try to do better.
Capt Greg

That wasn't a bad post, I was just advising people to print "Belmar Bucks" or "Goldeneagle Dollars" instead to prevent confusion. However, if I recall, we did have a great time that night. Regardless, I've been fishing the Golden Eagle since I was about 12 years old and never had a problem, but I got really aggravated that night and I think it was my friend's first time out - so you can understand why I was so upset.
