May Guest Pete Groesbeck

At our monthly meeting next Wednesday, May 31st, our special guest speaker will be marlin expert Pete Groesbeck. Freshly back in California from a huge win in Cabo, Pete will share his insight into the most sought after of gamefish. The meeting is at 7pm at the Hilton Garden Isle Hotel in Carlsbad (on PCH just S of Palomar Airport Road). Come early, bring a guest, and join our great raffle.

I'm bummed I won't be there maybe you can set up a video!! In fact I think all the good speakers should be video taped!!

Hey Guys,
The seminar is tonight. Remember that you don't have to be a club member to attend. Things start at about 7 pm, so it would be good to get there a few minutes early to give time to chat or grab a drink. We also have a real nice raffle table for this meeting. See you there.

Pete Groesbeck was great, that guy has tremendous knowledge that can only be gained by time on the water. We learned alot about marlin fishing at the meeting but with only an hour of his time, we just scratched the surface of the topic.

Too bad the club did not have the time to get the word out as I'm sure many marlin guys would have loved to get in on this free seminar.

Hope to get him back next year.
