North County SaltWater Anglers Basic Club Info

The NCSWA is a group of saltwater fishermen (and women and kids) which meets monthly in north San Diego County. We are an easy-going group and focus on fun and camaraderie more than competition. Events include Baja Trips, Ensenada Trips, Private Boaters Trip, Mainland Mexico Trips, Mothership Trips, an Open Halibut Tournament (with the Oceanside Anglers), a Club Picnic, Club Twilights, a Beach Fishing Tourney, and a Vegas Trip (to Bass Pro Shops). We usually meet the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the Hilton Garden Isle Hotel (On Hwy 101 just S of the corner of Hwy 101 and Palomar Airport Road). Our meetings feature a guest speaker, fish stories, upcoming events, and a good raffle. Memberships fees are $30 per individual, $35 for families. Meetings are open to club guests and visitors. Come join us!

Re: I Need Basic Club Info

I live in the Spring Valley, East County, area. Is there a Sportfishing organization representing this area ? I enjoy any form of deep sea fishing for yellowtail, Albies, Bluefin and Yellowfin tuna.

Re: North County SaltWater Anglers Basic Club Info

Our club meets along way from Spring Valley. I would suggest the San Diego Anglers or the San Diego Rod and Reel Club, both of which meet near Shelter Island on a montly basis. A quick search for either club name should get results. Both clubs have a long history and good membership.

I am new here to Carlsbad, and am very interested in catching Dodos and yellow tail in the local waters. How can I join guys to go out every now and then? I don't own a boat but am eager to help pay for trips and clean up afterwards.
