need help regarding finding someone/repo

Here is the problem, one of my recent employees (lived in company rented apartment/company paid car) resigned. He asked my manager (his replacement) if he could drive the car for 2 days (it is like "his" car as he drives it home), the manager told him to ask the boss. That night he went and took the car and is still driving it for all i know. Almost a month now, as i am going to report a police report for a stolen vehicle, i notice that the pink slip has a 50/50 (co owner ship?) his name and the boss' name.

He has changed his phone # and now i don't know where he is, and he has the company paid cars...

Any advice as i have no idea wtf to do.

Repo?

Re: need help regarding finding someone/repo

The pink can say bill OR ted, or it can say bill AND ted, the difference being, OR means either party can sign off the pink, AND means they both need to. This is an important distinction. Also, if the drivers name is on the title, you will have a hard time getting it repo's. Call ABA recovery and ask them, or rather, have your boss, with the title in his hand, call and ask what his options are. His only option may be civil action.
