Thieves.....What to do with em???

Well, some little punk rat bastards decided to give me an early B-Day gift the

other night and broke into my G-friends car, stole her stereo....Then move

over to my car on the street, pry my window open and jack my dash all up

tryin to steal mine (luckily they were too stupid to look in the glove box where my GPS was)

....The question is...I was up all night wrappin on a rod...I

wish I would have caught em but I'm glad I didn't (would probably be in jail

right now).......Does anyone have any tips of what to do when I catch these

bastards. They tried to steal my truck a year ago but couldn't get in.....I

didn't do a report but I did stop a cop and told em what happened....He said

to move :FU: ........


When I do catch em....What am I supposed to do???? I know if I shoot

or stab i'll go to jail. Can I legally beat the shit out of em with a 9 iron and

cuff em to the dumpster and call 911????.....Feeling very violated here...Any

suggestions?.....Warren

you can by law use whatever reasonable force is required to detain them till the cops arrive. lie about them trying to get away and you could probably get away with the 9 iron.

I can sympathize with ya, but what's worse is that I used to be a cop (shhhhh)......

I had my boat stolen two years ago (got it back, barely).

Had my car broken into ----bastard-punks cut through my convertible top and tried to rip-off whatever wasn't bolted down (fookheads were to damned stupid to pop my trunk button and access my cd's in the back)

I live in a very nice neighborhood, but that doesn't mean shit. I sleep with my windown open all of the time. I have an old softball bat next to my bed as well as a loaded 20 gauge loaded with popcorn seed (yeah, really---better pattern than rocksalt and less penetration-----yeah, I've actually looked into this in my free time and decided that I probably won't kill anybody with popcorn seed, but I'll make them think about what they were doing.

I don't know the exact legality of this here, butI suspect that if the puke was on my property ripping me off, I'd merely 'say' that the little bastard came at me after having suprised him----this way I could clearly justify protecting my ass with whatever resources I had available (Mr. Bat or Mr. 20 Gauge with Orvil Redenbacher).

I hate people ripping other people's shit off.....it's lower than friiggin snake shit.

And you're right, it's probably better than I didn't catch anyone in the act either 'cause I probably would have been in jail, too.

You need to be more creative!!!

Don't hit or hurt them at all!
Grab em and cuff them to something, take off all thier clothes and with a large permanent marker (Like Home Depot uses on those orange signs) write things like "I suck dick", "Take me in the ass" "Nigger" (I hate that word but it has the right effect!!) "White power" and other things real clearly. Now take them to the worst part of town at a busy intersection and stop in the middle.....honk your horn and yell real loud then kick them out and leave.

I promise they will NEVER come around your neighborhood again and if they live word will get out to stay away from that crazy fucker!!!

LMFAO.........Thats some great advice.. The shitty part about this whole

situation

is that when I do end up catching them, i'll end up face down in the dirt

dead. The bad guys carry guns and the good guys leave em in the house...I

was thinking about it earlier and the best weapon I think I have for this

situation is my 10 foot jig stick, 40lb test on a 4/0 size reel and a heavy iron

with a big Fuckin trebel .....Aim for the head hook up and hang on.......If

you get broke off you can just call the cops and tell em that the guy at the

emergency room with the big heavy lure that says "Shouldn't Have Fucked

With Me" on it is the guy who tried to steal my car........

I was gonna stay out of this conversation, but as a law enforcement officer I wanted to make two comments.

1. you absolutely CAN NOT use whatever force is reasonable to detain them. The law doesn't say that, the law says that you may detain them under citizens arrest. It doesnt say that you can beat them into submission or amputate body parts or whatever is "necessary" to keep them there. In fact if you do any of this or similar to it or use any physical force to keep that subject there, then you are simply committing a crime yourself (it's called battery) and you open yourself up to being a defendant in both civil and criminal proceedings.

2. The cop that told you to "move" is a lazy bastard. That is unsat and is an embarrassment to all of us who work the street. I'm sorry you had to hear him tell you that. What he should have done was to discuss how to prevent this type of thing from happening. I.E.- park on WELL lit streets, car alarms, the club, stereos with removable face plates, etc...
