Yeah, but I bet about 99% of everything Disney that has made billions of $$$$$$ is stamped "made in ROC"!! So they had a bunch of left-over, slightley defective shit that wouldn't pass it in the US marketplace, and they decide to put it to use. Seriously, yes it is a bunch of shit and yeah laws have been broken and yadda yadda yadda.....but who really gives a fuck. It's happening in a Chinese state, it is probably allowing millions of peasants the opportunity to see a little happiness in their lives, and these are probably the same millions that could NEVER afford a trip abroad to see the real disneyland, and OUR govt. probably wouldn't issue visitors visas to half of them anyhoots even if they did have the means and desire to vacation here. Oh well, personally I don't think it will cost the US economy that badly, this theme park, well not anymore than that middle east theme park that we are participating in. That is really a sad way of putting it. Im not gonna start a shitstorm with you, but that is very apathetic and seriously wrong way of looking at it. There may not be much that can be done about it legally, but what is being done is wrong and illegal. Yes it hurts Disney (which i dont particularly care for), and yes it hurts the US and our economy. Also, imagine if your family had a business that had blossomed through decades of hard work and investment and it was being exploited in this way in another country. You wouldnt feel the same way...Yes Disney is multi billion dollar entity, but the approach that that automatically means they are bad or have had to rip people off in order to get there is wrong. Very wrong. Also, giving them a break so their peasants can have some enjoyment in life is also wrong. Everybody is given and equal opportunity to make something of themselves, if they remain a peasant its their own doing, or lack of doing. The take from the rich, give to the poor mentality is bullshit in my book. But then Im very conservative and a hard core capitalist.

That theme park rip off is bullshit, Im sure Disney is doing everything in their power to fight it, and Disney which i believe is a conglomerate with ABC network has tons of money and resources, they wont quit fighting it.

Copyright infringement is something I care very much about.. As a photographer, my agent and I protect my copyright vigorously and would not think twice about prosecuting someone for stealing my intellectual property. However, I am not the Disney Corporation with billions and billions of revenue coming in every quarter. Is it wrong what the chinese theme park is doing? Extremely. However, I doubt Disney is losing much revenue. But that doesn't change the fact that it is still wrong and violates just about every wto and US law on the books.
Before some of you flame me, I still buy cd's and dvd's and don't download music or movies off the internet.
