| Yo-Yo Iron question
I bought some new irons for tomorrow 3/4 day out of seaforth. Can I use a snap swivel or should I tie the irons right to the line?

Swivels will negatively effect the action of the jig...tie direct for better swimming action and more bites.

| Not only that I had a Yellowtail inhale a 4/0 Tady and was able to work open the swivel during the fight, bye-bye fish and jig :104167739 It didn't pay to be in a hurry and grab just any rod and throw a jig on
The only reason I know this happened is because the next fish in the boat was taken on another 4/0 Tady and we couldn't even see the knot, swallowed completely Surgery was needed to recover the jig.

When I target cow yellowfin on the iron (PL68) like the fish in my avatar I tie a bimini to a double uni using 100 pound...the strongest connection there is.
