Good talking to you. I really think you are in a strong position to recover some if not all of your money. Even if you work a deal where they provide some labor for other projects to compensate. I forgot to mention that option. But if you figure what it will cost to do some project, they can make that happen for less $$ because it's only what they actually pay for wages and materials. So if you have some upgrade you want to do, maybe they will barter that way and you can get your new stuff at their expense. Well, that's if Merc. doesn't step up.
Just a thought, if you have questions about that call me back.
Have a great weekend!

Also, you mentioned that the pump mfg designed that pump to be mounted opposite than the Merc. application. Maybe you could get more info from them (the mfg) as to what remedies they have experienced. There may be some additional ammo to use when you negotiate w/the yard.

Rob had a fuel pump problem, which continued 4 @ 4 or 5 replacements and it turned out to be mfg recall situation.

Hey Rob,
How did this turn out? Did you get some relief on the bill? And did they cover any of the last issues? Just curious how this turned out.
Post or PM,
Dee
