| Positive thoughts please
Good thoughts and prayers for my Mom please. Sunday night I get a call that my Dad called 911. Mom was coughing up a massive amount of blood. Rushed over to the house, ambulance was already loaded. Off to Balboa Naval Hospital, 7 pm.
Heart rate 118, blood ox level not good. Finally turned around @ about 3am. They admitted her this morning @ 7am. Her white blood count is elevated, so she is fighting a infection. She is stable and doing a lot better, she will be there atleast a few more days while they run more tests and hopefully they can get her over the infection.
Chronic bronchitus and pneumonia caused scarring to her lungs along with the smoking for 40 years, she quit smoking 7 years ago. The coughing caused her to tear a blood vessel in her lung. A cold could kill her at this point. If your on the edge of trying to quit, consider this a push.
Im going through a lot of mixed emotions right now, anger, fear, blame, confusion etc. So please just send some positive thoughts this way if you have some to spare. Thanks.
