Smile Newbie from PA

Hello all, just joined up. I am from Bucks Co., Pa and fish mostly inshore and off out of the Delaware Bay. Run a 253 Mako in the salt.

Also, when I am not on the ocean you will find me at a local lake, pond or stream hunting SM Bass and the like.

Hope I am posting this in the correct place as I could not find a new members thread

Re: Newbie from PA

Here are some pics from my Sea Bass trip last weekend. I got a group together and we fished the 60-80 mile offshore wrecks (from Cape May NJ) for 18 hrs straight!

Tog trip in two weeks, and I cannot wait. Wintertime just means different fish!

That is me in the last pic with a nice humpback fellow!

Those are Sea Bass or Black Sea Bass - they eat real well, especially fresh clam on a hook

They are pearly white meat and very mild tasting, I rank them as some of the best eating fish. These winter guys are especially good to eat because they come out of the water at about 38-40 degrees and then get colder in the below freezing air temps. Freshest fish you can get.
