TRACY, Calif. - A wayward sea lion is cozying up with a herd of cows on a Tracy dairy farm.

The sea lion was discovered Monday morning at the Kisst Dairy Farm off Grant Line Road in Tracy.
It spent the day in a stall surrounded by cows.
The dairy manager said the animal had to trek three-quarters of a mile along farm land to make it to the barn. He said that is the closest irrigation ditch.
The farm's owner called the Marin Mammal Society in Sausalito. Rescue workers arrived at the farm and herded the sea lion into a crate.
They said the animal is skinny and a bit lethargic, and will be taken back to Sausalito to be evaluated.
