| Whats the deal with the I-5 near oceanside?
My wife and son are on thier way home from her dads and she calls me and tells me that it's stopped completely. People are outside their cars stretching and what not. Sigalert.com sucks and doesn't have any info for that stretch and nbcsandiego isn't much better. Anyone seen what's going on? She went from the border control check point to Las pulgas Rd (around 3mi) in the last hour. Glad I'm home watching football....

That can be normal for that stretch. Not for long periods but it screeches to a halt on weekends for no apparent reason.

Just heard on the news...... a major / fatality crash....dad's dead, moms critical and to youngins on the side of the road confused....prayers out to all involved

Aparently there is a homocide investigation going on on the freeway.... Not sure if it was vehicular homicide, shooting or what, but on a side note, my wife got a laugh out of watching all the knuckleheads having to call AAA cause they ran out of gas...... She heard this while at the rest stop next to Camp Pendleton....
I would be with her but I had to leave there early yesterday morning to deliver saturday air..(and to go fishing this morning).. Her dad is bringing her and Owen back... He'll jump through hoops to spend time with his grandson... He's raider fan though, I guess I shouldn't hold it against him... but it's hard not to.... | |

didn't research the particulars, just saw the spot on the news and thought I'd pass the info, heard that the dad wad tossed out and moms was having a helocopter ride, and that a few women that witnessed it stopped to administer aid to 2 youngins ( 2 & 4 i think ).....seems like a tire blow out..tragic indeed
