Always keep your vessel assist up to date!

I just got the invoice from Boat US of what they paid to the company that towed us in. We were 10 miles from my slip in mission bay and it cost $770.00!

Just a heads up even though the season is winding down make sure you keep your vessel assist up to date. It may save you big $$$

(of course making sure you have enough fuel in the first place will do that as well )

Actually not sure what Kep, Xman, and Locobro did, I was trying not to puke while getting beat up lol It took them 2.5 hours to come out (it was a sunday afternoon), and than another 2 hours to get in... But $770.00 well worth the $150 a year I pay.

Vessel assist is like wearing a rubber while having sex. You better have it or it will cost you.

Oh well James............I'm sure your crew helped out with the bill since you take them fishing all the time.

Curtis.........

The boat Hanna............

Whew, guess I should be glad one of the engines didin't go down huh Curtis?

Vessel Assist was pokey getting there but stilll quite a bit faster than paddling. Money well spent every year, glad you had it James.

We fished for sharks while we waited, the swell was a factor, it was still a fun day.

Im VERY glad I don't have to pay for it lol I just can't believe 10miles out cost $770.00. I thought towing companies on land charged absorbant fees like $150 "hookup fees" but $77 a mile! Im glad I have Boat US AND AAA

I figure I am about even now since I have had boat US coverage since 99 or so and only used it twice. First time was with my first boat 2 miles outside of newport, second time was last month.
