Asked Tim (aka Swazi ) to take the Boat out of Gear as the Feathers were tangled, he looks back and says "Mako in the Spread" I look back and a see Striper sinking out I have the Trolling rig in my hands as I'm just getting done clearing the lines,
I shift to free spool and drop it back a ways Whamm-O Striped Marlin on inside the 43 Freakin Awesome Day, Brought that Fish to the Boat three Times in 15 minutes He stood up on his tail did a little Marlin Shuffle and that was it ,self release right at the Transom, what a way to end a Day as we were on our way in.

That would have to be meeting, and making Friends, with Don aka Salsa. Spent about 10 days in the East Cape with him 9/02 caught my First Big Marlin on that trip, unique experience because we were a privateer, meaning we had our own panga
