Ok bitches, stop the auction selling my boat and truck.....I'm still breathing....

Just got home a couple of hours ago from Kaiser where I have had the worlds biggest WAKEUP CALL. I suffered a small cardiac "episode" (heartattack still scares me) on weds night after an arrest (details of which are withheld due to pending investigation), lets just say it didn't go "well". It felt like a freight train hit me when it happened. It dropped me to my knees, felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. Pain radiated so intensely from my chest up my neck and down my left arm, that it took my breath away. Fortunately, Paramedics were right there already rendering aide to the suspect in custody and therefore were right ontime with the Nitro and IV's, thus preventing serious damage to my ticker.

Upon arriving at Kaiser, I sat in the ER for 16 hours after initial treatment and suffering one more "episode" at 8:30am yesterday. After a myriad of tests and 3 days in the hospital, no damage has been detected and no blockage discovered, for these I am extremely grateful. A new diet, cardiac exercise rehab program, NO SMOKING (I have been smoke free for 3 days), and some cholesteral medicine and high blood pressure medicine I will be ok.

It's my opinion that I brought this on myself by randomly deciding to stop taking my blood pressure medicine and by smoking. If you smoke, please reconsider, afterall........I am 35 y/o and have now had two cardiac "episodes". I considered myself to be in reasonably good shape and within 10-15lbs of my target weight. Bottom line, if you smoke, if you randomly decide that you are smarter than ALL the docs out there, THIS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU TOO.

Nuff said.

Thank you to all the BD'ers who reached out....I am grateful to know that I have friends as cool as you guys. Jason, Mike, George, Mark, Corbett, all you guys are awesome, thank you so much everyone for the prayers. It's nice to have only been held prisoner for 3 days.

I'm a smoker also, and it's stories like these that are really making me think twice now.
