...and Bloody Decks was well represented!
Our exalted president, J Graham, ruled the meeting with an iron fist (even though the beers were flowing).
BDrs scored on the raffle. Rickdiculous got the coveted custom embroidered tackle bag. Adam (aclemieux) got the top prize, a new ProGear Reel donated by Ken's Custom Reels. Big Joe won something (can't remember what). I got a Tshirt, lure bag and a baggie full of Big Hammers. You North County BDrs need to get in on this. Meetings are 1st Tuesday of the month at the Oceanside Yacht Club.
Mark your calenders! First tourney is the Open Halibut Tourney on April 8th and you don't have to be a member to enter. It's a dual tourney with North County Saltwater Anglers. Last year's winner took home about $5,000! Hopefully, DaGoose will still be in the Bahamas for this tourney. The kicker is that all boats must leave and return to Oceanside.
Nice to meet all the BDrs tonight and see you next month!

Nice meeting you, Stan! As well as all the other guys. It was like a club within a club. Very cool. I'll post a picture in the morning. Still can't believe I won. It's a silver colored Pro Gear CS 551. Fuckin' sweet!

That was a real nice reel. Good meeting all of you. It was a good meeting, hell even my wife was entertained.

Well, here's some pics.
And here's what I found when I searched the reel up on the web. It's the 6:1 ratio model (I put a piece of tape on the spool last nite and counted the revs). Sweet! So stoked. Can't wait for the Halibut tournament!

Good meeting all of you Oceanside Angler newbies. Its a little different than Bloodydecks, no 1 fingered salutes, nobody told you to fuck off, but somehow we still have fun, must be because they sell beer!
Looking forward to the upcomming tournaments, lets get a good BD showing for the Halibut tourney and show the North County Anglers group how to catch fish. Again you don't have to be a member to fish the Halibut tourney. They are taking signups at the Fred Hall show at Ken's custom reel booth.

For my first meeting I was impressed with how many BDers were there. I enjoyed putting names to the faces. I won three bags of swim baits, not quite like the score Adam made on the reel but better than squat! Looking forward to the halibut tourney next month.
