UPS SUCKS ASS!

This is coming from a retiree from that company but I'm pissed.


Fuckers in this area can not do their f'ing job. There is an entire policy around what they do and how they do it. I'm pulling all my business from them and will not accept another delivery from them. I have delivery times from 1100 am to 1900 hours or later. I get a notice saying the second attempt on the first attempt meaning I have one additional day to deal with it. Most of the time I don't worry about it but sometimes I'm dealing with cases of wine (yes, I know, it's gay) that are sometimes up to $800. Not to mention it's paid for when it leaves the winery and I won't get my $$ back for weeks after the failed delivery. I WILL NOT HAVE A ROD GO THROUGH THE SYSTEM.

When I worked there ( at another hub ), it was old school. You handled your shit and took pride in it.

Sorry to vent but I'm pissed. This has been an on going thing with this f'ing piss ant driver and the 800 number was useless.

My Son in Law works for them and is Looking, been there 5 years....I hear the work conditions there have gone to hell in the past few years. They work them like slaves now. Tons of people getting out.

Nick, yep, the conditions are getting worse. I currently work with a fellow retiree. I've only got 11 years with the teamsters so don't start labeling me as a geezer or anything. My buddy has over 15 with them. We are concerned for our retirement. You need the new guys to support you otherwise they sell you $$ out from under you. Ours is pretty secure but you still never know.

Oliver, I used to strongly recomend them as a place of employment. Several millionaires made there and a ton more retirees with bank made there. I hear these days it's gone way down hill. It kept me from calling about the issues for a while. It's gone too far. Un f'ing acceptable.

Doc and Mark,, Screw U both! I'm all for sharing but come on. I'd be lucky to get 2 out of 12. That would be like delivering a new 50W to a guy going on a 18 day. "I only USED it once!" What would be funny is if this is over one of the 2 bottle deliveries. One time it took a week to get 2 bottles.

It sucks to be this way with them but this is over the line. I tried to change all the shipments to Fed Ex or Mail but there are a couple that were not able to change in time. It really sucks. I loved that place.

Those asswipes took me for $130 when they bent up a bike I sold on Ebay. I paid extra for insurance and all and they claimed it was my packaging that caused the damage.

FedEx ground kicks ass over those brownshorters, much cheaper too.

I get a couple bottles from Chateau Montelena twice a year -- bought some 2002 Estate Cab futures a few years ago at less than $60 per. They're now selling for $95 per! (And taste SO good!)
