I was pleasantly suprised today when I got two letters from "The office of the Governor"

And enclosed were two checks for two vehicles registered last year in NEV. toalling $324.00....And this letter.

They also get huge amounts of revenue from Reno and Vegas which doesn't hurt. It would be nice to get some money back here in Cali but I don't ever see it happening....

Ironically when CA had a vehicle tax refund, the governer made sure to spend hundreds of millions of dollars advertising it to the constituency so he'd get credit rather than just sending out the checks.

"Uh, we have a bunch of extra money but we're going to spend some of the money that we could give back to you to tell you that we're giving you money back".

don't know how to make a seperate post so I am going to post here. Hope that is ok...

I went on my girls trip and had a complete blast. I can't give you all of the details!!! and I did put some fish on the boat. 2 yellow tail and one calico :bablefish :bablefish :bablefish :bablefish :bablefish man they are all so yummie...
They were large enough to have a 5 or so meals and bring a little to a bbq this weekend. That's if I can get Mikeylikesit to let me bring it. Its funny how catching your own fish makes it taste soooo much better.

I won a great raffle prize, a trip for 4 Sturgeon fishing in San Fransico.

Just over all had a great time and after I got some sleep I definately would do it again and again.
