Got treated like shit at Aros Trailer today.......

Some of you may remember awhile back when I staunchly defended Aros Trailer against all naysayers. Well today was another story.

I went in to purchase a hub/seal/bearings/bearing buddies. The guy was a rude individual right from the get go. Had I not REALLY needed the items I would've walked. A year ago I was in there and the guys were spot on, helpful in every way, they even packed the bearings for me. Today the guy throws all the stuff in a box and shoves the box at me and says, 35.60, no "hey anything else you need" or "thanks" or anything. I then asked the guy if they could pack the bearings for me and he says "Don't you know about our minimum shop charge" and I say no, sure don't. So he says, well, "That'll be 45.00 to pack the bearings w/grease". FORTY FIVE BUCKS!!!! What a fucking RIPOFF. So I tell the guy to go fuck himself and leave.

Rest assured, this will be the LAST TIME I EVER go in their shop. I'll drive to San Ysidro from Lakeside if I have to, just to avoid ever giving them my business again. They lost a loyal customer and former defender of their piss poor customer service, today for good.

Last time I was in there -

the counter guy saw my bloodydecks shirt and made sure I knew about 10% off BD discount. Which I had no clue about. Guy (Chris) was very helpful.

It's the same everywhere these days my amigo - you hit a certain employee on a certain bad day or they are pissed at the owner and /or business - and they are not going to give a rat's arse about you or customer service. The days of professionally trained and courteous service reps are old school and if not properly trained are very hard to come by.

Sorry for the bad outing.

I also will use F.E. Trailers in El Cajon. See Ken. They build and service many boat trailers and have good inventory.

Survey by Marriott

Marriott did a customer survey a few years back to determine why people did not go back to them. The results are as follows:

1% passed away
2% moved away from the area
13% no longer required their service

84% Someone on their staff was rude to them, or they felt disrespected them in some way, ie: talked down to them or made them feel like they were a bother.

I know that was a hotel chain survey but customer service is the name of the game no matter what business you are in. It doesn't matter how good your product is if you don't have the customer service...you won't have the customers.

I've bought several dessert trailers back in the dessert days always great service.
Shoot them a Fucking e-mail and tell them how you feel. I'll bet that fucker gets his ass chewed.
