I don't think it's a coincidence that out of 548,000 US Army Soldiers that the shooter randomly falls into the .002% of the Army. I think wether we like it or not his religion does play a role and I'm not going to tip toe around the issue. I'm not saying muslims shouldn't be allowed in the military. Like Japanese Americans in WWII, I think having muslims on our side could be very beneficial. I just think if you've got one who's:
-ready to deploy
-has gotten bad performance reviews
-gotten into arguements with fellow soldiers about the war
-probably has voiced his unwillingness to deploy
probably shoulda been on someone's "radar".
