Was it the thru hulls? Bung the thru hulls-problem solved.

Most smart boat owners have at least a half dozen bungs onboard in order to deal with a situation such as a leaking thru hull fitting. If the area around the fitting is compromised you can sometimes stop water intrusion by placing a piece of rubber or plastic large enough to cover it up. The water pressure will keep in in place, at least until you can pump it out or add some type of additional flotation to prevent sinking.

I am glad that nobody was hurt or killed.

We were wearing life jackets, it was Rafts that got tangled and went down with the boat. And no alarms went off, it was too late by the time they noticed. We were about 6 miles offshore....the news was not accurate, every station had a different story. The people on the boat know their stuff and did everything right, all that matters is that we're not all down there with the boat.

I posted a link to a news article yesterday that said very clearly all 6 had there life vests on! Jhull has issues with the capt. and is going to say whatever he can to make it look like the capt was at fault! There are no forums for my line of work (thank god), if there was and someone who worked for my competition went on and started spewing the madness this guy has, i would get the best attorney i could find and try to own everything he and the people he worked for had. You are trying to wreck his reputation and his business, BAD ON YOU-
