While I understand the spirit in which this was posted, I also have to point out that it is indeed "political."

I don't need someone else to tell me what to state.

FDR did not lead us into war, he happened to be in office when the war was going on.

No Germany never attacked us, they attacked out Allies and Japan attacked us directly.

Second, the John Glenn/Howard Metzenbaum interaction took place in 1974 not 2004.

Keep political crap off the board. Especially incorrect political crap.

This isn't meant as an attack on you, just a general statement. We know what political crap has done to other places.
