if you're on COX...clear your cookies. Or...if you've been online a while...and haven't shut down your browser...do so.

No, just from today. But yes. Cox is infamous for cookie overload.

Ya, Im having the same problem with Cox, not to happy with them. I also have earthlink and I think the service from them is better. I send Autocad files, (or should I say, I try to send ) and cox kicks back the files to me saying they are to big. never had that problem with earthlink.

Deleting your temp internet files will slow your box down.

Reboot and see if it doesn't get better after a day or so.

Dude, I clean them off several times a day, and re-boot, doesn't do a damn thing???? I just think Cox is over-rated. Just my .02

So far I deleted the temporary internet files and cookies., I ran the test ( thanks Fish Sniper) and up with
comm 463.5 kilobits per second
storage 56.6 kilobytes per second
1mb download 18.1 seconds

and it says this is "not bad"

I dont know what good numbers should be but right now it blows.

Oh, and I have rebooted this thing 3 times tonight.
The next one will be with a size 13 right off the desk.
