"SDAA is offering a reward in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for stabbing a young harbor seal at the Casa Beach (Children’s Pool) in La Jolla on October 24, 2004.
Witnesses say that a group of young men attacked the seal, stabbing the animal several times, and also turned on a couple who witnessed the attack. The seal was taken to SeaWorld for rehabilitation, but died early the next morning"
They left out that Sea World Doctors/Vets said it wasnt stabbed and it was probably fishing line. I also like the way they refer to the CHildrens pool as casa beach to take the emphisas off of what it was built for...... whacko's
