12v charging issue

Non boat related but they are pretty much wired the same. My TT had an issue where the fan for the charger kept running. I disabled it until I found the issue which was a dead battery. The charger was overheating trying to charge what which it could not. Anyway, with a new battery in it's now not charging. Fuse box ok but isn't there an inline fuse on these things? I'm trying to track down the charger but it looks to be buried under the sink and closet.
Worth a shot before I bring in a pricey expert.

Yep, I am getting wierd readings at the cables so can't tell if it is working properly. Could it be possible to get leaked current from the 120 while it is plugged into the house? Or if any current the charger might be good?

Edit, I dragged this battery over to the store and it wasn't holding a charge either. Basically I have a bunch of dead batteries that I was storing charged just to replace ones dying. Anyone have a suggestion for a good deep cycle battery?

I purchased the Cosco brand two years ago for my WW toy box. I beleive they have have a 3 year warrenty. They are still going stong. I go over to the storage every once in awhile(2 months or so when not in use)and they start up every time. Dont forget to disconnect if you are going to leave them sit for a long time.

What do you mean "wierd readings" at the cables? My TT has an isolation circuit so that "leaking" doesn't occur (to my knowledge).

I can come over w/ my meters and we can track it down. Let me know. I'm 2 minutes from you (actually just drove by your pad 10 mins ago...)

Since everyone flips me off I'm not sure if that was you I just got done pouring a sidewalk (whoot).

Dru, it appears it was the leads. I replaced those and get good readings. If you want stop by and have a cold one. I'm always working on the house or boat or TT or other project.
