We went out on the Purpose One. Many many thanks to Phin for hooking us up and Captain Rick.
Incredible day of fishing with many American Red Snapper, including a big 18 pound keeper. At one point the Dorado (dolphin) were swarming the boat and ready to go when a bird dive bombed our baits, hooked himself, and scared the fish off. We did manage a few. The keepers:
1 red snapper (18#)
2 keeper gags (8 and 15#)
2 strawberry grouper
1 cobia (32#)
4 triggers
2 huge vermillion snapper
3 red porgies
3 dolphin
MANY more fish caught and released including red snapper between 17 and 18", gags around 20", porgies of course, B-liners, triggers, etc. etc. etc.
I highly recommend the Purpose One if you are ever in the area.
