Why we fish Cabo: New Article & Pics

Hi guys, Jon Schwartz here. I wrote an article about Cabo for Western Outdoor News this summer and I just posted it on my site. Here is the link:http://www.bluewaterjon.com/articles.htm
For those who haven't fished there, it gives a broad view of the types of fish that can be caught there, and makes note of some of the more spectacular catches of recent years, including a GIANT wahoo that was caught some years ago by a 15 year old girl. How big? You'll have to read the article, and if you haven't heard the story, it's pretty incredible.

It also gives a broad look at the non fishing activities there, like nightlife, touristy things to do, and some of the personalities of the area.

Cabo is also the site of the world record dorado, and home to the wildest infestation of striped marlin on the planet that I am aware of. I just booked my trip there from Nov. 20-30, and if you're there, and you see a guy messing around on his laptop at Solomon's landing in the pm, please say hello.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy the article and let's hope the guys at the Bisbees get some fishing in!
Take care
Jon Schwartz

11andy11,
Good question!
Actually I am 40. The kids I teach in school are 8 years old though, cuz I teach 3rd grade in addition to the mag work I do. Speaking of which, time to go to work..sigh...
