| Need a recommendation charter outfit in Cabo for Thanksgiving week
Getting dragged down to CSL for Thanksgiving this year by the family, so I'm thinking that I might get out and do some fishing while I'm there.
As I've haven't been down there for awhile, can anyone recommend an good english speaking charter that won't ripp me off and take me for a friggin' boat ride instead of a fishing trip.
Last time I was there I went out with Picante' and felt like I was getting the "Tourista special ....you go where WE want to go and catch what WE want you to catch".
Hoping to get into some Tuna and Dorado, so Panga's probably aren't gonna do it.
Thanks for helping get my butt off the beach and doing some "work" while on vacation.
If you ever want info on fishing around Seattle ...just send me a PM...
Thanks and good hunting ....

So, you want to go catch what you want to catch in spite of whether they're around or not?
Try Renegade Mike. He's a member here and all I've seen are very good reviews. But, if the dorado and tuna aren't around you'll probably be disappointed in an excellent Cabo operation.

Stanley, No disrespect but you didn't read my post right.....I want to go catch what is there or is at least supposed to be around during that time of year and I do scout out what's coming in before I go out so I have the right expectations...
I know there are great guides in Cabo and some hellacious fishing....I just haven't found the "best" boat for me yet.
In that regard you say Renegade Mike is a member of BD ? or ?
I'll give

Jeff, Another name to check out. RONDINELLA. I fished with this family for over 15 years but I now spend my time in PV. Old boat but well seasoned crew!!! The last number I had for them is 011526241420179. Carlos is probably running the boat.
I don't want to take anything away from Mike as he seems to run a top notch company down there!!! I am sure there are many good charter companies and maybe as many not so good ones too. Have fun!!!

I've had great luck with Pisces charters. That is the time of year I usually go and the striped marlin can be thick that time of year. Last year three of us went out, caught three marlin and then got our six dorado. EXCELLENT DAY!

I second the La Playita fleet out of Puerto Los Cabos(San Jose).
Prices generally $240 for half day, good shots at tuna/dorado, tranquillo atmosphere, etc.
Tip: Negotiate prices in Pesos. Do the math first. You will thank me later.
Try Eduardo 624-105-6087 cell get help dialing when you are down there
Not great English, but comes from a fishing family, has lots of local intelligence. Mention "Que Onda"
Drive there a day earlier to scope La Playita out.
