Yeah, I thought they eliminated the boat permit requirements but it still shows on the website. Anyone know what's up with that?

I guess I will just pay the extra 20 and get it in hand. | I buy mine directly from the Mexico Dept of Fisheries near downtown San Diego. It's a short 15 minute drive, and always ends at Little Italy for lunch. No markup, a excellent lunch, and a chance to see some hot chicks walking by the outside seating. I'd call that a win, win, win situation.

If I buy this, do I need to still pay for those fishing permits fees charged on the long range boats?

Boat Permit no longer required.
Each person FISHING OR NOT on the boat needs a permet.
Cost $48.20 US for a year license. Need to bring a money order or bank check, not a personal check, for the total amout of permits. IE need 3 permits then ONE check for $144.60 US Mexico Fisheries Dept (619) 233-6956 2550 5th Ave Ste 15 San Diego, CA 92103
