| Tunas- 0 Brisa- 3
Well, the Banco is HOT! We were out again today with Mike Ferrigno, Derek Schleede and Scott Cannon. In the morning we got three knockdowns by bill fish and finally hooked a nice black marlin and as it got fairly close to the boat, we had an early release. So, back for more bait which was slow at that point and trolling again. Finally around noon things began to piok up for us ( everyone else seemed to have a tuna by then ) and all of a sudden we had dolphins coming to steal our bait. The guys started to reel in all the bait and as the last skippy was coming out of the water we had a cow tuna at the swim step trying to eat it. It was a riot as we were all yelling to get the bait back in the water- in it went and we were on. Mike Ferrigno had the rod and after 35 mins we had bloody decks. Now things began to turn on a bit more. We went for more bait and there were birds working and spinner dolphins around. We made bait, put them out and waited for about an hour... then boom..double hook up, two nice tunas. The first one came in with Derek Schleede reeling, in about 30 minutes. The second took a bit longer (about 1 1/2 hrs) with Scott Cannon working and finally at 5pm we had three nice cows on board and could go home. Congrats guys. We still have two more days of fishing to go with you. Keep up the good work.
