Mechanic in PV?

Hi guys...

I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a mechanic
here in PV?
I need someone to install a new and larger set of trim tabs, and
also to give my tuna tubes a once over. I'm ready to take her
(Babalu) out of the water to paint the bottom and thought I
would 'knock' everything off at once.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Louis

Good Luck......although there are a few good ones, they are few and far between. Guys like Aleta, Manny & JT should be able to put you in contact with one of the decent ones.

I'll never forget that one day we were in the docks, watching these mechanics work on the engine of a huge multi million dollar yacht, and the mechanic tells the driver to punch it, driver does so, and the boat goes backwards instead of forwards. Oh they barely saved that one, as he almost backed it into the dock.

I am so glad I don't own a boat and have to deal with that down there , but as the guys said, there are a few good ones.

John Jones, the mechanic who has a couple of tool container-sheds located in the boat dry storage yard down the block from the Paridise Village mall, has a helper named Pedro who speaks good english, and can handle these types of jobs IMO.

John drives a blue dodge dually pickup and if you don't find him in the yard, you might find him at the Grand Villa Condo next to the little mall where he lives year round.

I believe his home number is 322.297.4089 and his cell still might be 322 105 0406.
