For those of you who were getting hosed by your Visa/MasterCard banks on foreign exchange fees there has been a class action lawsuit settlement resulting in a refund to card holders. The time period runs from 1996 to 2006 and, depending on the amount of your foreign transactions during this time period, you may be able to receive a refund of a maximum of 1-3% of your foreign transactions as part of the settlement.

Now if we can only get Opequimar to refund part of the 15% service fee and extra credit card reach around fee.........................

Sweet, thats the 10yr period I have been here with my visa card on a us bank wondering why the fuck I was getting hosed, so I think I might want to start adding up my very active account and see what the refund might be. thanks Clarke!!

Wife and I both sent back our claims paperwork day before yesterday. Looked like a scam at first but a little investigation proved it's the real deal.
