Kiko?

Last month I watched Ivo approach as I headed for Cabo, now I get to watch Kiko as I'm packing for PV. It's as if my travel plans attract tropical storms

Any input from the PV guru's on what effect this thing will have on the conditions down there next week?

Re: Kiko?

Mark, please stay away from Mexico from 11-3 to 11-10.... lol

Last august, our last day fishing was a bit rough as a hurricane passed offshore. Rain, squalls and thundershowers but we still got to fish.

Re: Kiko?

The storm is slow moving and the computer models are all over the place after 72 hrs. Doesn't look to be forecasted to become a big storm but if it continues to meader N-NE it may put some very unfriendly seas off PV. Stay tuned................

Re: Kiko?

FYI - Thursday AM Update

They don't really have a clue what this storm is going to do - they have been wrong so far and their models are all over the place. Best case it comes ashore in a day or so between MZO and ZIH as a weak tropical storm and disapates. Worst case is it slows down and skirts the coast on a NW track and generally mucks up the fishing for several days off Pv and regenerates into a hurricane just in time to great the Bisbees.

Recall last year during the Bisbees a storm passed offshore of PV and headed to the Cape where they cancelled day 1 of the tourney.

Re: Kiko?

Hey everyone, looks like the area is going to get shalacked around Sunday-Monday. I switched the Monday trip with Danny Osuna to Friday because Alonso had an opening. But our Sunday trip looks like it is going to be nixed. Does anyone have an opening on Saturday to do some pre-storm fishing in a worst case scenario? I can be reached at 347-255-0958 if anyone can do a quick run to the tuna grounds, if this storm does head to PV. Appreciate any input on the situation. Also my email is connected to my phone so an email will do in case service is questionable.

Hal.Levenberg@fticonsulting.com

Thanks

Re: Kiko?

Went through Hurricane Kiko in 1989. Hit La Ribera at the East Cape. Wild. You know what land not to buy after a hurricane, because it's underwater.
