bring Hector (at Margarita's in Punta Mita) some fresh dorado and tuna caught earlier in the day and let him do his magic....doesn't get much better than that! Don't forget your mosquito repellant!

| Re: PV Resturaunt Sticky There used to be a great little resturant up in the residential area called 'La Placita'. Ask for a roof top table. Lots of ex-pats eat there.

Buenos Aires in the marina has hands down some of the best Argentine style steaks.
La Palapa in south shore is a good upscale place to take a date. Puerto Vallarta Fine Dining Restaurant - La Palapa |

Brazil in the Paradise Village mall is good if you're really hungry.
I hear the Brazil downtown is even better.
We stick to:
Brazil
Fajita Republic
Margaritas
On most trips.

the Taco Stand in La Cruz. Great tacos and only open on Friday and Saturday. Bring your cooler, bottle, whatever you want.

Awesome tacos, just ask Vince #19.
Drew recommends going for the A/C which makes the dining room so cold in August that you need to sit right next to the grill in the kitchen to stay warm!! | PIPIS standing room only local gringos hang out.

I like Meson Bay in Bucerias....Last time I was there they had an all you can eat barbecue for something like $13 USD...Included T-bones, and New York Strip.....Also, they make a real good marquirita.....
Another favorite is Mauricios....They are between PV and Nuevo Vallarta, opposite side of the main road from the airport. Closes early (maybe 7:00PM) and a place where most customers are locals. Excellent seafood and prices are very reasonable. Complimentary tequila after dinner....Strike up a conversation with the waiter, flash a "nice" propina and the "free" tequila keeps coming!!!!!!!
Going down on the 20th for 2 weeks and will definitely check these 2 out and more of the suggestions others have made.
Of course, hoping for grilled tuna land tuna sashimi as well, but got to catch one first!!!!!!!
