Re: Looking for AA meetings

Is there a hotline number listed in that area? When I used to travel a lot I would call information and could usually find one that way. Good luck to ya...

I qualify for that too.

And, for the negative ninnys who think I might have broken a tradition: My name is not Lindsey Lohan. This is not press radio, or film, right? I have the right to break my anonymity at this level.
I have a primary purpose, to carry the message. If I'm a secret, how can I carry the message?
Also, Having had a spiritual awakining as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics ........

Lastly, it's a disease that doesn't go away. Lots of people go out. I tried calling my central office, and the numbers and places they gave me are outdated. I tried another source in Mexico, no results.
So I tried this, and bingo, got what I needed.

David, you're right, carry the message and be proud. If I make it to Aug 15th it will be 15 years for me, and I drop to my knees every night to give thanks.

Yeah, I'm a fucking drunk, no doubt. But haven't had to drink in 21 years, thanks to the fellowship.
Thought I might get some fucking bright idea I am now legal to drink since I'm 21.
I'm really bad at bright ideas, they ruin me. Meetings help me stay away from my bright ideas.
Thanks to all who responded, privately or publicly. I'm now armed with what I need.
