Good times October 2006 The Rock (Black Video)

Made another trip south
as it is quickly becoming my second home
I am blessed to be fishing this day as Im out of the hair salon
and not dealing with these Crazy Yenta's
I have Angler Yale Combs on board Tigerlily this Morning
and tell Him I have a good feeling as I see 2 Shooting stars on the way out in flat seas!?
Im a little worried as I know theres weather to the west
and I have been caught before out there and it can get ugly Fast!
caught bait no problem and see more birds and life than I see all year
Yea baby I head NW off the rock
and my right rigger pops I feed this fish forever
and come tight tell yale to give Tigerlily some Gas and this big fucking black comes ripping out of the water
as the boat next to me hits hit trottles smoke blazing out of his transom
Manny on the pacifico is also hooked next to me
wow this place is going off gunz
the marlin goes away from Pacifico thank God
and we are off to the races for 2 hours as I spin on the fish
and angler Yale
puts the beating to this awsome fish
Im so happy as this fish comes to leader
and no one is hurt including the fish as it swims away clean

nice fish and personal best for Yale & Tigerlily
we fish the rest of the day for heartbreak as the tuna dont find the hooks
but still alot of excitment
Monday eve JT and myself aged ourselfs afew years as we stayed out till 3am and back on the water by 7am
and fished the 35 cabo TT for some sails in changing conditions
day 3 wed!
we arrive on Tigerlily for 5 to 8 foot seas I slug it out for 10 hours for 1 knock down
off to Punta Mita for some rest and and were almost killed
as JT and Caldo are Zapped big time by touching the outriggers (Punta Mita storm)
lesson learned
had an awsome trip
and will return ASAP more haircuts more Fuel

Bogi

Good seeing you down there - WTG. You're on target to be on "Big Fish, Small Boat VII" video.

Keep living la vida loca but make sure your weather eye stays focused

forget the fish, holding a tiger cub, now that is a once in a lifetime experience...how many haircuts did ya have to give up for that ?

Congrats on the marlin, and scoring on the inshore tuna species

Re: Good times in PV

Bogart-
There are definitely some memories of a lifetime coming out of our adventures in PV! I am not sure if I was more excited about holding a tiger cub on Thursday or catching a marlin on Friday.
