| Fishing PV Oct 7th & 8th 0n Chelita
Well although I'm still a cow tuna virgin I still had a great trip fishing with Chelita this weekend in PV. That is until I got home and got an email from Marisela and heard the tuna arrived yesterday, The day after I left Oh well thats fishing.
We did catch some sails and dorado and a bunch of small pargo and inshore species, And I hooked and lost 4 or 5 big pargo to the rocks or bit off line. I also lost the biggest dorado I have ever seen in my life that ate a big trolled skippy. I did have a decent size tuna come up and eat a skippy I was pulling in on the sabiki and promptly spooled me and stole the sabiki, Anyone catching a tuna wearing a sabiki necklace, The jewlery belongs to Kawi
All in all, We had a good trip despite missing the tuna action by 1 day.
Jim and Marisela, As usual were fantastic, They picked us up at the airport, Took us for a great seafood dinner and put us up in their home. They fed us and drove us to and from the marina all weekend. The boat and crew were again top notch. Kawi & Oscar, Worked their asses off to put us on tuna, All day at El Banco Sat and till noon on Sun at Cobetania but the tuna just didnt show up. We finished the day inshore catching and releasing inshore species and had a blast.

Damn Bill, had my fingers crossed for ya on the cow.
Missed it by one day :104167739
You've been giving it hell, and I'm sure your cow is coming. And I'm sure that Team Chelita showed you a hell of time down there in Paradise. Marisela and Jim are best host a guy can get, and the Kawi is one hard working fisherman. Give me a call and tell me the details of the trip.

You are lucky to be able to get down there and fish Bill. (you don't even have to ask your parole officer anymore, ). The more you go the better your percentages are. Going there and having a great time is better then expecting to catch a cow, that would be like going to the casino and expecting to win. Thanks for the pictures and it's good to see you made it back safe and sound. (is this me typing this?)

And all this time I thought Ali had bad luck! JK......better luck on your next voyage. You'll get one soon. BTW, the key to success on the Pargo (the big boys) is to keep the reel in the gunnel until up off the bottom, button the drag on strike, wind 'em and grind 'em, and hope for the best. We were able to get all 3 that we hooked last month.
Also, nice work on the bill fish and inshore species.

I think next year I'll condense them into 1 and stay down and hit it hard for a couple weeks |
