Greetings from down under.. Banco report 7/20, 7/21

Well we are down here and all the stories about spearfishermen are true... luckily yesterday those pricks left the high spot and everyone was back on the same page as far as SHARING goes.

Wayne missed his flight out and didnt get in til 7.21 and same with Jeff. Unfortunately Wayne was not fealing well and decided to go back home, so you guys can give him shit about that, but he just didnt look good, so Wayne, hope you feel better and weŽll try and catch a cow or two for you.

Fishing with Lora on the Prime Time and best I can say about Banco is SLOW... SLOW...SLOW.... lots of boat pressure, hardly ANY tuna up during the day.

Thursday we got there and like 10 to 15 boats working around the spearfishing boat who shall be known as FUCKTARD from now on.

We lost a pinche sailfish who was trying to suck down our cabby first, then our skippie...fucking circle hooks....bout 30 mins later we hooked up into what I think was the right kind...it picked up the skippy and fucking ran HARD...let him eat it for what seemed like eternity ,put the reel to strike.. come tight...start pumping hard...Lora gave her just a lil gas, hook comes unbottoned... WTF... fish felt really heavy, ...we get the line back and there are teeth marks a good 2 to 3 foot from the hook... circle hook failure again...we tried flylining a skippy on the highspot, we went right up next to FUCKTARD and dropped out skippy ,they were lookin at us weird but we didnt give a shit....I get picked up but that fucker took me to the rocks fast and before i knew it he escaped... nothin like going 0 for the day.... we started trolling home, and Danny called us in on a spinner dolphin school with bite size tuna under, and we put 4 15 to 25lbers on the boat and headed home.

Friday Bullshipper and I were out with Lora again and it was fucking raining HARD... thunder, lightening... I was only comforted by the fact that Notorious was right next to us so that if it got really nasty I would have swimmed up to their boat, wheter Jeff liked it or not

We did get one good hit in the morning, but just as soon as the reel started screaming a HUGE lightning flash and LOUD LOUD thunder was heard.. donŽt know if that scared the fish, but shit, it couldnt have helped, because the real stopped screaming immediately.

Rest of the day was spent trolling around para nada, zero tuna really showing their fat ass around, didnt mark anything big...no marlin... making bait has been easy out here...but not much love having fish pick it up.. oh unless they are dorado or sailfish... we did hook up to a nice 40or so bull on the circle, and I fought the damn fish for 10 mins and had it close to the boat, but it did another jump and spit the circle hook...i had the line pretty tight, it just doesnt seem like the hooks are sinking into them very well...Jeff was able to gut hook the cow 30lb companion of my bull on a cabby and get it to the boat... we also had a sail try to eat a skippy and after one jump throw the hook. Rest of the day was spent making bait and trolling them around but pretty much no strikes. We switched to the balloon and drifting over the highspot which was not localized by FUCKTARD today. Lora had another pargo destroy his flylined skippy and yet the circle failed us again.

We picked up another dorado around the buoy the divers set out to mark the highspot, so at least we have SOMETHING to thank you guys for

Anyways, it does sound like the fish are hitting later on so weŽll probably set out a lil later tomorrow and stay later in order to get on these mofos... then again, fighting a cow tuna at 8pm... fuck, I guess it will be cooler.

All the guys out there, see ya on the water... and Jeff... yes, it was THIS BIG lol....

Nothing at Corbetania? We've done some nice fish there - nothing real huge but at least gorilla size - maybe 120 or so..

Probably no life there and off colored water........the bite goes back and forth. El Banco usually dominates this time of year becuse of the conditions.
