el banco 7-17 big blue

we fished the bank yesterday for one marlin that hit the down rigger at 5:30 pm.the fish was in the 600 to 700lb class and put on an awsome ariel display and was released to fight anouther day.we worked the high spot with 8 other boats and a group of speer fisherman.I saw the pacifica get a 200lb tuna and a couple billfish and one other boat hook a billfish.we fished until 8:30 pm for the one fish.I did not see any tuna activity like the other days we were there but the weather was alot nicer,smooth seas and a light breeze.I go home tomarrow and will return on the 30th of july for the tourny.Hopefuly we will get some tuna love on that trip.I'll post a full pictoral when I get home.Good luck Gernsey
