What can I say, Dennis is the man.....................................He caught the beautiful 323 LB Yellow Fin Tuna at El Banco first thing Saturday morning aboard the Pacifico. Lines were not in the water 5 minutes when a pod of spinner dolphin raked the baits, after they were brought in, the huge tuna ate the bait 10 feet from the boat! 1 hour and 5 minutes later this beast came on board................Capt. Tony said 300 or real close. This fish looked way fatter than my fish last year, weighed on Drew's certified scalemaster at the marina after being on the deck for 10 hours.
Around 1pm I hooked into what I can only describe as the devil himself..................just a brutally tough, determined tuna, that did not want to die. Imagine going toe to toe in 95 degree heat, humidity and no breeze

for 2-1/2 hours! Saw the fish at color after 30-40 minutes, only to never get it closer for another hour and a half or more. Finally boated it just before my body was about to let me down, if it wasn`t for Dennis and Ramon dunking me with water, I don,t think I could have made it.
We shot tons of video and pics, full report to come after we return. Today we had 3 successful Blue Marlin releases, along with one on Friday.
I feel sorry for all you poor bastards that have to wait till next month to get down here!
