First trip to PV--A Few Questions

I am headed down to pv nov. 14-18th, Coming from florida I was wondering what the lobster diving is like...is there bugs....what are the regulations on getting them? I figured this would be the best place to ask about these rules and regulations. We are going to hopefully fish two days weather permitting but I would like to do some freediving and maybe some spearfishing reguations permitting.

Regards, Mike M

Gringos aren't allowed to take crustaceans or mollusks in MEX.

Can't tell you about the diving, but if you are looking for a reputable fishing charter check out Top Gun. Juan Moll is the owner/captain. I've been out with them 2x and have never been dissappointed. Great boat, nice guys, and most importantly, they will bust their asses to put you on fish. I've fished all over the place, and they are amongst the best in my experience.

I was just out on Oct 13 and we caught 31 dorado on an 8 hr trip.

I see that he is in the bar business so my guess is that alcohol was involved.

Playa los arcos beach area. 2 in the afternoon. The story is i was buying waters from a convient store and had about 20$ in 1's so i guess it looked like a big wad--got jumped by 2 guys( with handguns and white uniforms) into the back of a white pickup with gold policia lettering..the driver was real police with an ak47..is suspect the other 2 were not real cops. drove to the mountains. took cash. i jumped out..ran and went straight to grab my family who was left at the beach..checked out immediatly and went to NH krystal and didnt leave the porperty til my plane left the next day. I was just walking along.. wasnt drunk, not peeing, not smoking pot..It's too bad that happened cus i will never go back ever!!..fish report-- 7 dorados day before on 24ft panga 35$ bucks an hour for the boat..punta mita trash line.

I was kidnapped by a couple of shady locals named Manny and Juan.

The threw me in their truck and drove me to a place they called Hysteria.

Once we got to Hysteria I was "robbed" of all my money.

It was horrible.

I can't wait to do it again.....
