Nuevo Vallarta Marina

What, if any, good boats/capts are located in the nuevo marina. I'll be down there in May real close to the marina and am wondering if anyone has any info.
Its NBD to take the taxi to Marina Vallarta just curious if there are any decent outfits in Nuevo.

There are a lot more boats out of the main marina to choose and or see what they caught in the afternoon.

In Nuevo, the boats (that you previously arranged the night earlier) will pick you up in Nuevo if you ask them too.

Walk the marina, talk to some locals, you'll get hooked up.

if you want the real experience, there are some great captains that you can find by reading this forum.

Captain Kurt (Frijolitos) has a fast boat and a proven track record. there are many to choose from.

Good Luck

At low tide in the dark, Nuevo used to be a dangerous exit. Most capitans would wait until daylight to come get you or leave when it was an early morning low tide. I would suggest making the 15 minute taxi ride to the marina where you can get a 5 am departure from the better boats and a cup of joe from the already open coffee cup.

osunas out of the new la cruz marina, short cheap cab ride away. All captains will be glad to pick you up, but best to go to their boat... Read the sticky at the top, pick a top captain, you wont be sorry.

Osunas and Danny Dhamar in La Cruz

Manny and Kurt are in PV Marina

Lora at Punta Mita

Juan Moll used to be in Nuevo Vallarta, not sure anymore.

There are others, but none of these guys will do you wrong.
