| Capt Keith Denette/Martuni Carnage
Just got back from a 3 day offshore trip on 47 Cabo "Martuni". Perfect weather, eat and drink that made this trip flawless.
We started this trip with a tank full of cabbies and headed to the promised land in search of cows. Right off the bat we connected with tuna from 100 to 140 lbs the first day. We caught them on the double trouble, skip kite, flatline, skip jig and lures. It didn't take long before we had our share of tuna to take home and enable us to focus on looking for fish in the 200 to 300lb range.
Day 2 provided us with lots of show, but no go on the large grade of fish rolling on bait balls that kept us trying different techniques to get these fish to bite and I had to get on a touch of this action and catch a fish. (Thanks Brant!)
Day 3 started with a wide open bite of solid 60lb fish and ending with a wide open stop that finished off our trip with solid 125 to 140lb grade of fish that showed us that fishing can't get any better.
Thanks to Brant for taking care of the cockpit and preparing the best sushi on the planet, and to Keith Jones for making this all happen. Dr. D'Costa for keeping us well and Andrew for making this trip a memorable experience.
