| Jan. 3rd Nice PV Marlin 600+ - Great Pics
Just returned from PV. Had the whole family with us so we spent some time traveling to Barra. Had to catch our flight home on Sat. night (Jan. 3rd) we left Barra, drove all night and hit The Rock Saturday morning for a few hours, plan was only fish to 11:00 AM and then head in and get packed for the flight home. Made two skippies real quick and at 10:45, as we were getting ready to bring them in, had a quiet knock down on the port rigger and then a great show. Flight lasted almost 1 hour on 130 stand up.
Pretty certain it was a Black (1st one) would like confirmation from others.
I have enjoyed all the great posts from the past, keep them coming.
Troy

Awesome first post Troy!
Hell of a fish!
I would say it looks like a black. Small Dorsal, Big forehead and stout pec fins.
That said, it has AWESOME blue color. Very nice fish.
EASY 600 lbs.
That's a big girl.

Blue or Black it is a great looking fish and congrats on your first.
\Might need some help here. In the third picture up from the bottom you can see the pectoral fins straight out like a Black but if I look at the next picture of the fish on it's side it looks like the fins might be in or up tight to it's body and a Black can't bend them in. They stay out like an airplane wing. So if you can remember or look at some other pictures it should tell you Black or Blue.
